You would be surprised how many Westerners don't have a clue about China's economic and social competitiveness. China doesn't have a trillion dollar EV company like Tesla because they have BYD, Geely, SAIC, Changan, Chery, Nio, Xpeng, Li Auto, etc, even Xiaomi. They don't have a trillion dollar tech company like Apple because they have Huawei, vivo, OPPO, Xiaomi, etc.
