This clown probably truly doesn't know that in the early stages of World War II, the United States was a gas station and industrial base for fascist Japan. Before Japan invaded American colonies in Southeast Asia, it wouldn't be an exaggeration to call the US an ally of Japan! China held out from 1931 to 1942, trapping most of the Japanese army within its borders. After the Soviet Red Army defeated the Kwantung Army, the US easily occupied the entirety of Japan, and then he dares to claim that the victory over Japan was entirely due to him! It's utterly absurd.
I don't care about the motives behind the US actions; at least the outcome was good. However, the long-standing distortion of history has caused most people to forget what the US did during World War II! Some even see the US as a savior, which is truly ridiculous.
