If the US takes Greenland and Venezuela, China will have to act swiftly in taking Mongolia and East Kazakhstan back, and then take Burma as it has access to the Indian ocean.
So far trump hasn’t really taken Venezuela and honestly his plans for Greenland doesn’t seem to be going all that hot either. The man is a coward who wants quick fixes, not a true solution. No one can just take both places and expect resources to come to the USA for free, especially when China is the only one capable in regards to extracting those resources properly. China doesn’t need to do anything except wait for Trump to succumb to the stress of biting off more than he can chew. Besides just trying to do those things has basically ruined the national image of the USA beyond Chinas wildest dreams while conversely helping to improve Chinas standing in the world, why ruin a perfectly good set up
To be honest, China will seek a passive lifestyle for 75 years. It will not annex or invade its neighbors. That is the attitude they are projecting right now.
