Why would Thailand have trust in Indian launching services? They could have just used Chinese services.

This and Denmark buying weapons from the U.S. (!) to protect itself against the seizure of Greenland really makes me wonder if this is all just a kabuki act to move NATO and EU forces to the arctic against Russia.
A lot of people think hey I got cheap stuff from China and it was good enough. So why not try cheap stuff with India?
Unfortunately they don't get it. China's competitive advantage is that it can make cheap stuff that's good enough. A lot of other places can make cheap stuff but isn't in fact good enough.
This is a common fallacy with not just China but east asia. Those guys succeeded so soon it will be our turn as time passes.
