India is not an alternative for the West against China for Western values. Who has exploited China the most to make money? The US and the West. The only thing India can become to be an alternative to China for is a country that they can exploit. It suggests that India will pay workers a fair wage in accordance to Western values. Are Westerners willing to pay more for something they can get cheaper from China? No. So how is India an alternative when India can only violate Western values to be an alternative to China. So the fact is the only thing the West sees India for is some they can control more than China.
Given that, what says India would be better than China? Their only explanation comes from their racism and reality is India has failed to challenge China in anything and everything despite how they're suppose to have all the advantages that China does not.
Frankly Fareed Zakaria is only given a voice because says what the West wants to hear and not provide factual evidence. And that's why the West always gets it wrong about China. They only want to hear what they want to hear and not the truth. Fareed is providing to the West what Indians do best. Indians have the courtesy culture. They will lie to you if they believe that's what you'd rather hear than the truth.
India does have something which China does not: much of the population is convinced that they are born inferior to and in permanent servitude to the Brahmin. Can't even call it slave labor because the slave believes it is his destiny and moral obligation. These quasi-slaves could potentially be very resourceful if the Brahmin up top wasn't so inept.

Something I noticed about all these commies in the west is they love hearing their own voice yet don't focus on the actual work when the ideology is about the worker. When China does it, they do the work and use the quote the ideology to explain why did that work.
