Because of the hurricane China has offered aid to Jamaica but the Jamaicans are limiting it because they’re afraid Trump will punish them if they do. Now those who argue for China to pursue Western type soft power… is that an example of US soft power that Jamaica is refusing possible life-saving aid from China because that might offend the US?
Nigel Ng got canceled in China for collaborating with Mike Chen, a known FLG. Ng deleted the offending video, apologized in a video posted to Chinese Internet, and also made a defiant "not bowing down" video on western Internet.

Yes the IDF don’t want to someday hear their cars go “beep… beep… beep… BOOM!” They would know first hand.
Something I noticed is the gymbros and meatheads who would be guests on Joe Rogan all supporting China. Meanwhile the guys who would report you for getting their pronouns wrong tend to be for DPP. Not good optics really.

I know that sometimes Nigel Ng could be compared to someone like Russell Peters. So why the big fuss over his style of comedy? Well Russell Peters does his father's Indian persona, but it is just part of his many persona. Nigel Ng is all about his Uncle Roger persona, it's a permanent feature of his brand of comedy. Russell Peters rarely bring heavy political topics if any into his comedy. But not Nigel Ng.
With regards to China, Nigel had expressed his dislike for China based on US propaganda. Things like Xi Jinping, censorship, propaganda, Taiwan, Uighur slave labour, and Covid. Watch his skit in India for example. He expressed relief that there were no Chinese amongst his audience. Watch his joke about Wuhan and Covid. Where he roasted an audience from Wuhan. He asked him to wear a facemask, "thanked" Wuhan for 3 years of pandemic, and asked why they ate that bat. I don't see why that is funny, I find it distasteful.
So no, I have seen enough of Nigel, and I just don't like him. People can call me sensitive, but I see a pattern here. When it comes to China, his style of comedy reinforces Sinophobia in the West. Whether knowingly or unknowingly. I think he knows what he is doing.
If Uncle Roger thinks that China is being overly sensitive. He should try making jokes about 9-11, Israel-Gaza, or LGBT. See how long his comedy show enjoys it's "freedom" in the West.
