This is the problem with the anglosphere, after the Anglo people took over 5 major landmasses, they always need a major enemy to justify their sense of identity, and its been a perennial thing since America as a concept of a white mans land was ever a thing. Look at jack London and heinlein and their attitudes towards China, it’s like they know their karma for their sins against China for colonisation and the opium wars would come sooner or later but rather than correcting their behaviour, they double down on the same behaviour as those who pushed opium on China all those years ago.
Personal anecdote, I was on the train in Sydney taking the morning train to work and there were a group of white Anglo schoolboys who were fantasizing and talking excitedly amongst themselves about how they were going to nuke China and send all the radioactive waste to China, not unlike jimmy kimmel getting Kids to say they wanted to nuke China. Now, I wonder why would young primary age school kids have such thoughts unless their parents, family members and social environment enabled that sort of thinking. Because this mentality isn’t just localised in primary schools but all across Anglo Australia society as a state founded on colonial exploitation and racial stratification. The question of this Chinese century is how a society built on white Anglo supremacy is going to cope with a Chinese hegemon in chinas neighbourhood?
Already Australian workplaces actively seek mandarin speakers for rich and wealthy Chinese clients but they won’t hire Chinese men, rather they want Chinese females so they can perv on them and sexually harass them before their biannual trip to Bali or Thailand to exploit the impoverished women there.
So why does someone like Jesse Kelly have this impulse of total war against anything Asian.
