The Brahmos missile is a modernized P-800 Oniks. It's not an Indian indigenous design. India still relies on imports from Russia for crucial components. So it is definitely not an Indian product.

The Brahmos had been overhyped as a land attack weapon. It's warhead is small, at around 200kg, compared to 300-400kg or more for rival cruise missiles and tactical ballistic missiles. Sure, the Brahmos missiles did slip past Pakistani air defences during Operation Sindoor. But so had the Pakistani Fatah II TBMs been slipping past Indian air defences. I'm confident that the Fatah II TBMs were cheaper and carried bigger warheads than the Brahmos. And that the Indian military had been unable to intercept them too. For the same strike mission, the Fatah II is the more practical and cost effective weapon.
Honestly, if you set the bar that high, then what do you have left? (serious question)
Astra MkI - Russian seeker
Akash - Kub clone (hopefully not relying on Russian components by now)
Tejas - GE404, Israeli radar, etc.
Dhruv - French engine
Arjun - 30% imported parts, allegedly non-operational (so not working!)

They scored 7 hits out of like over 50 launched based on their own admission. That’s not really the flex you think it is…
Calling something "at least... working" is a flex now? Noting this is in comparison to systems blamed for deaths? I thought my threshold was already low...

I think China can push for brics currency along with India and Russia right now. It has never been a much easier time than now.

Therefore I don't think China will toss India aside for this. Along with some trade deals at sco, they can facilitate the brics currency too

The Indians know in order to be a friend with the US they need to be a vassal or colony state. They have no interest to be a colony of the US. Indians said this in their Indian defense forums.
Why would China want a BRICS currency instead of just CNY? It makes no sense. I'm sorry but this whole hyping up BRICS really is just India, Brazil, South Africa etcetc trying to use China's economy to boast themselves. Don't expect too much.

I don't think there's going to be a BRICS currency, I just don't see the point in it. An alternative to SWIFT is enough. Regions are already reducing their reliance on the dollar anyway and I see it as an irreversible trend.

The RMB can't function as a reserve currency. A reserve currency needs to be widely available so that other countries can keep large stockpiles of it. China is a massive trade surplus economy so all the excess RMB ends up flowing back to China. What they're doing in the meanwhile is to just do transactions in non-USD funds but I don't know if it's really possible to build an alternate reserve currency to it.

Two countries with significant debt problems. One has a fiscally responsible party willing to make hard decisions and shoulder short term pain to quell the problem, the other elected a guy who bankrupted a casino because they were afraid of gays using the ladie's restroom.

Seriously how bad do you have to be at running a business to bankrupt a casino? Casinos are literally filled with money printing machines.
