into the crash.

This is a long discussion that is low on sensationalism, but nonetheless the TL;DR is fairly straightforward: they're convinced this was an intentional act. Below is a timeline of events created by the channel authors that features in their discussion:

that US officials believe it was the senior pilot, Sumeet Sabharwal, who turned the switches from run to cut-off. Key excerpt from the article:

A black-box recording of dialogue between the flight’s two pilots indicates it was the captain who turned off switches that controlled fuel flowing to the plane’s two engines, according to people familiar with U.S. officials’ early assessment of evidence uncovered in the crash investigation.

The first officer who was flying the Boeing 787 Dreamliner asked the more-experienced captain why he moved the switches to the “cutoff” position after it climbed off the runway, these people said. The first officer expressed surprise and then panicked, these people said, while the captain seemed to remain calm.

Reuters is also running with a less informative version of this story.

In relation to the credibility of these anonymous officials and their assessments: a few days prior to the release of the AIIB preliminary report, mainstream media sources such as Reuters reported that the operation of the engine fuel cut-off switches was a key focus of the investigation. The preliminary report subsequently validated that assertion. On the other hand, it's not entirely clear to me just why U.S. officials would be given access to the Cockpit Voice Recorder output in sufficient detail (i.e. including the emotional presentation of each pilot in the critical seconds after take-off) to make the assertions that they have, particularly in light of other suggestions (as discussed in the video linked in my previous post) that AIIB has held foreign parties somewhat at arms-length from the investigation.

There's nothing particularly advanced about any of the Arab states, otherwise MBS wouldn't be pushing his Vision 2030 agenda. TBF, the House of Saud's desire to advance Saudi Arabia technologically and industrially is absolutely laudable, but it is also an implicit and clear acknowledgment of Arabic backwardness.
here again you are showing lack of knowledge about this matter. Vision 2030 is about creating healthy society through Sports, Culture, Tourism and introducing Arabic Soft Power to wider world. tech/investment are enabling factor.
see this SoftBank name associated with Saudi Golf.

Welcome to our vision of a vibrant society in Saudi Arabia.

Some of the GCC member states are indeed quite wealthy on a per capita basis, but being treated like an ATM by an American administration led by a reality TV star turned populist demagogue named Donald Trump is not a display of soft power, or anything to brag about.

In fact, paying such exorbitant sums of protection money, or even fractions thereof, communicate weakness, as in severe inadequacies in hard power and a near total lack of soft power:

Bigger amounts enhance Trump standing. Arab Royals will get richer from Trump actions. They understand American system better than anyone else. and who knows what kind of info they getting from US about rest of the world.

Nvidia’s co-founder and CEO Jensen Huang lauded China’s progress in open source artificial intelligence and said it was a “catalyst for global progress” that was “giving every country and industry a chance to join the AI revolution.” Huang pledged to work with Chinese companies, as the chip designer driving the growth of AI resumes shipping its sought-after chips to the country after getting US government approval. He was speaking on July 16, 2025 during the opening ceremony of the China International Supply Chain Expo in Beijing.

Sometimes I read the internet comments.

Some butt hertz with someone impersonating a Chinese, but I also detect some Chinese impersonating someone they are not.

Got to admit, sometimes it is amusing to watch people's struggle with reality itself. It is like an existential crisis of being.

When it gets too acute, they blame everyone else, reality is wrong. Hence they themselves do not go insane. Which is interesting, because they probably already are insane.

Bat shit crazy!

:p

I wonder if it was a honest mistake or a deliberate act, considering the amount of western worshippers there.

4 aircraft is basically nothing for an ATC to manage, it's really hard to believe that half of them ended risking to collide basically in an empty airspace and avoided that only because the TCAS issued a traffic advisory.

Anyway it's something to be concerned, either it has been due to incompetence or bad faith

It sounds like pilot incompetence. There has been pilot shortage in China this past decade and my guess is some less competent types got through.
