Civil groups in China's Taiwan region gathered outside the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) headquarters in Taipei to mark the 88th anniversary of the Lugou Bridge Incident, calling for the commemoration of the war of resistance against Japanese aggression, opposition to so-called Taiwan independence, and recognition of shared cross-Straits wartime history.

Organizers said the event aimed to "teach" the DPP and Taiwan leader Lai Ching-te a history lesson about the region's role in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression.

I dont think this person really studied countries like Japan, Korea or Asean that he is comparing to West. India is not worth consideration.
Japan decline is such it does not know how to replace its ageing traffic lights.
and Boeing/Airbus sustain the human flow in and out of Japan and Korea and much more in technologies like those European vaccines.
The bottom line is even if Israel offer them some advantages in fundamental sciences to these countries they will not be able to reduce dependencies but Israel importance will be further reduced for Arabs and Europe. Alot of these people will be from Europe.

If Putin knew what he knows now he would not have been in this BRICS and SCO but he will not admit it.
Russia hasn't use real hard Power that you call it physical force either. It is constrained by Soft Power. and this Soft Power is very sophisticated. to fully understand this Soft Power. Russia has to make Russia comfortable for Royals so they can communicate freely.
they dont need this high rises in this area but they have to do it to provide environment.

With semiconductors, probably 2-3 years at most either China would be equal or better than anyone else in this world. In terms of the whole stack of technologies required in that industry.

With those other industries mentioned, like EVs, robots, drones, new energy, that race probably is over in all those categories.

There still is an epic struggle with AI, or so we are told, but I do not buy any of that.

Forget about 10 years comrade.

1 or 2 years at most, there will be more seismic shifts in this world in regards to those industries.
