It's basically what I said above. The comment said that China has always known that it will sooner or later have to confront the United States kinetically, and when it does, there's no one else who will be willing/able to help. So China has been planning to confront the United States and all of its allies simultaneously, by itself, because such a confrontation is inevitable.

The comment then goes through what other countries thinks about this. I only remember the Russia one.

China's version of Quora. A Q&A site.
So what's the strategy to deal with all of them?

Force them into a bottleneck road and cut them off one by one? Defeating in details?

Or is it dragging US directly into a fight and crushing it there? Once the "allies" see American weakness they start making excuses not to fight?

It's unlikely that China would take on the entire western world all at once, China should strive to either get people off US's side and if possible bring them to their side.

China will have to take on the Western World at once.

“If you can convince the lowest white man he’s better than the best colored man, he won’t notice you’re picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he’ll empty his pockets for you.” - Lyndon B. Johnson

White people are incredibly racist and will never, ever truly accept a non-white as their superior. This applies to their sycophants as well (e.g. Japan, South Korea). China will never be able to convince a Western (i.e. White) country to get off the US's side, no matter how badly the US mistreats them.

* Slavic countries might be an exception, since they're looked down upon as "Lesser Whites" by the Anglos and Western Europeans. Hence China's inroads with Russia, Serbia, etc. Even then, I don't think China truly trusts them, nor should it.

In other words might makes right once again. At the end of the day despite all this talk of democracy, human rights, freedom, justice blah blah blah it all comes down to force. Imagine wasting all your time being an expert on this theory only to realize some kid with a gun now has authority over you.

Uh yes? The law of the jungle has always applied, without exception. Occasionally the winner tries to justify force by making shit up, but all that's just shit. Shame on you if you ever believed the "democracy, human rights, freedom, justice" lies from the US and its sycophants, because American hypocrisy and double standards have been obvious from day 1.

God I’ve become really annoyed by how Israel and Ukraine have been acting lately.

How sneaky and conniving they are. How they hide behind and depend on other nations for safety after they act reckless and stupid. The way they behave with such arrogance, impunity, and righteousness is pretty aggravating. They’re always the victim, always the most powerful, always perfect, always the best.

This is what happens when you become America’s favorite little proxy, you become a spoiled brat who can do no wrong.

And I get that in a war you can’t expect your enemy to play fair, but it’s still frustrating.

I believe this is why China has been relatively careful with the DPP in Taiwan. The above is the DPP's modus operandi exactly. It's possible, but very annoying, to deal with this sort of smarmy opponent, and delaying the confrontation while you weaken this type of opponent in indirect ways (e.g. weakening their economy) is probably preferable to an immediate fight.

Only as long as you can keep showing Uncle Sam your value. If not you will be easily discarded. Look at all those failed proxies of the US. It's didn't end well for them.

China is powerful but China will not be able to take on the western world at once. If China decides to join open confrontation with the west like it was during the Cold War then just forget it, China will hang on for a bit but ultimately lose. Folks need to understand that as powerful as China has become the collective west is still immensely powerful and has a huge psychological grip on the world. China should continue doing what it's doing and should avoid open confrontation with the west. It should make the developing countries very dependent on it economically, keep playing down any Cold War (because there isn't any), all the while modernizing itself.

The west is closing itself off and building walls? China should open up and accept visitors (like it is currently doing). West is kicking students out, China should open its schools and make it attractive to study and provide a cheaper option for students from developing countries. China needs to increase consumption though, it needs to rebalance its economy and make its large market even more attractive, that will help reduce the appetite for war from the western countries.

Hide behind other nations for safety is how small nations should act, North Korea gets to do whatever they want including building nukes with no consequence for the same reason.

Hell even Russia gets to do whatever it wants with no consequence by hiding behind China economically.

Except at some point someone will strike first. China hopes it will be the US and it's "allies". When that time comes, China better be prepared since you only have one chance.
