Another important point if not the most important is that country only stay unified if there is a dominant identity, it don't have to be ethnic but most often it is. USSR with more than half population being varias ethnicities broke but not Russia where Russian ethnity is dominant. USSR tried to creat a new identity based on new ideology and beliefs but didn't have the time which would need hundreds years. Yogoslavia was another example. In the arab world, identity of country or even Arab is less a thing than tribe, religion and religious sectors. There are countless examples elsewhere.
You are absolutely right. But USSR collapsed precisely because Russians no longer believed in the communist ideology and want to ditch the other nationalities, who were perceived to be leeching off Russians. It was an implosion from the inside.

China and Canada's relations are getting better, I think Canada might reduce Tariffs on Chinese cars down to 20-30% for China completely removing tariffs on Canadian farm goods.
What will happen is that Canada will get played again and left standing outside in the rain, just like they did during the first trade war. The US will take their market share selling energy and other natural resources to China in return for some favourable terms to China. This won't be a problem for China either since a market that is 10X bigger is always going to be more valuable. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if there is still latent resentment over the Meng Wangzhou treatment despite Chinese comments about forgetting bygones, reset, etc. Canada and Australia (they got played too last time in terms of the US taking their gas market in China) are the forever whipping boys of the Americans but their innate western sense of self importance will always make them blind to this.

Australia is way smarter as they have reset their relationships with China, and also allow the import of superior Chinese EVs and batteries.

I agree that the relationship between China and Canada will tend to ease

But I don't think Canada will reduce the tariffs on Chinese cars to 20-30%

After the poll ends, Musk suggests a name for a new party.

Will Elon Musk follow in his Grandfather Joshua N. Haldeman footsteps and help the American Technocracy Inc party take off.
An technocratic fascistic party as a counter balance to China's Communist party and Russia State capitalism(proto/return to socialism).
A redo of nazi Germany and Mussolini Italy but in the americas.

It does seems like History might rhyme in the 21st century history spitting out lyrics that follow along the 20th century history.

When a Japanese (half really) person got stabbed in China, Yahoo Japan comments had over 2000 comments. When a Chinese tourist gets stabbed in Kyoto, well you can't find it. I searched in English and only see one result in the news which is this one. Keep in mind the stabbing happened yesterday. I don't even see any western media like BBC covering it.

I think when next time some Japanese person gets stabbed, China should give less attention to it and just say we are following standard procedures to deal with it. If Japan starts whining, we can just point to how little they seem to care when the ball is on their side. Maybe in Japan they think still think only their lives matter a lot but unfortunately for them, times have changed and they simply haven't caught up.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the world's tallest railway bridge, an engineering marvel, over the River Chenab in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.

The bridge is part of the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Railway Link (USBRL) project. It is designed to withstand strong winds and earthquakes and has a lifespan of 120 years.

The Chenab bridge stands as a symbol of national integration and engineering excellence, and is expected to boost tourism in the region. The Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Railway Link (USBRL) project will provide seamless rail connectivity between Kashmir valley and the rest of the country.

I feel like everything most people know about Tibet (Or Xizang) are westoids scamming us.

Apparently the current Dalai Lama isn't even born in Tibet but in Qinghai. His family doesnt even speak Tibetan and he said his first language is actually a Chinese dialect.

And of course we know the system of for example how Tibet must report to the Chinese emperor and they need to get approved for their Dalai Lama. This is best documented in the Qing dynasty

Also a lot of people think Tibetans are peaceful people coz of the current Dalai Lama. But thats actually insulting against Tibetans coz apparently they might be descendants of the ancient Qiang people who are basically mountain nomads and were noted to be very fierce. They even had the Tibetan empire during Tang dynasty. Just coz they are buddhist doesn't mean they are peaceful. Mongols are buddhists too and hell the whole Dalai Lama system comes from them. The best MMA gym in China is near Tibet and is filled with them. Initially I thought it was Tibetans being forced into it but I realize now its simply them reliving their true ancestry memories.

To cut it short, Tibetans are more like one of the ethnic minorities of China that just happen to have strong PR from buddhism. The west somehow managed to convince people they are somehow separate from China. When you look at their history, I would argue its actually the complete opposite and they are one of the most connected ethnic minorities to China. They literally had positions in the Forbidden City. Other ethnic minorities don't even have that!
