China ain't gouging them. China isn't the one who first tried to weaponized economics and trade to force other to align with their interests. As a warning, they said China would deny supply chains first but that was about having an excuse to do it to China before it was done to them. It was no different then to what Trump is doing now.

It doesn't benefit China. Sure, China comes out on top but that was going to happen regardless.
