I think a lot of people in the US are going to blame Trump taxes for the prices increases, if too high or the economic slowdown, if happen, even some MAGA people. And the consumer confidence crash is a sign that people are nervous of Ron Vara policies to say the least.

Is one of the benefits of Trump having such loud mouth.

They are going to feel the impact in about a week or two. A lot of importers are already halting shipment to the US. There will be shortages and supply chain issues for pretty much everything. It will be ultra chaotic and I am predicting Trump is going to use the Martial Law card and declare some form of edict to keep Him in power indefinitely. Of course I could be wrong but stranger things have happened. If it allows to go on, this chaos will be similar to the COVID lock down on steroid.
