This belongs in the sports thread but I thought I would mention it here as well.

Today was a good day for Chinese MMA. China went 3-0 at UFC 312.

Zhang Weili came as an underdog in her title defense against an undefeated Olympic tier wrestler. Yet somehow in the fight she was in top position most of the time. Probably her best defense to date.

Oh and on a side note. India's only male fighter was also on this card and got knocked out in 19 seconds. I am tired of giving them undeserved attention but they deserve it in this case and I will be glad to rub it in.

Let's see how the talks go between US and Russia, though I don't think it will happen in less than six months, after all the Korean war armistice took a few years to negotiate. I think a deal between Trump and Putin would require Xi's assistance, if only the geniuses in Brussels could figure this out.
