I have watched videos of Trump Jr.'s arrival to Greenland and I estimate there were only around 50-100 people that came to greet him. I am yet to see concrete evidence that overwhelming majority of Greenlanders want Greenland to become a US state like Trumps & Charlie Kirk are claiming.

If US can get all Mexicans to USA GDP per capita levels, then they might approach China's size. But this would take a long time if even possible and be contingent on China not growing at all.

I think with US having friction with EU, being possibly forced to work on massive annexation projects and UN losing all power, it gives China a much better than ever ground condition to bring Asia under control.

Korea, Japan, the indochina peninsula and Indonesia, just some of them under total Chinese political/economic control will solve all future conceivable problems for Beijing. None of these countries are powerful, especially not the southeast Asian ones.

The armies of ASEAN still mostly consist of equipment that wouldn't be out of place in the Korean war. In the face of drone warfare, VLO platforms and massive airlift capability, it's hard to see anyone being able to fight back.

When US is goaded into multiple western civil conflicts and also provoked into a war with Iran, China should blitz through western colonies in Asia which will bring 500 million+ people into indirect control of China.

Wonder how visible a buildup on the Canadian or Mexican borders would be.

If I were Trudeau I'd start secret negotiations with Xi about a possible government in exile in Hong Kong. Otherwise Trudeau is as popular as another dynastic ruler we've seen go into exile in 2024 and staying in Canada after military defeat would be inadvisable.

I'm just glad I finally moved out of Germany. What a clown show. BTW, their immigration offices in the major cities are such a clusterfuck: to get/renew a work visa you need to wait 3-6 months to get an appointment (if your even able to snag an appointment at all), and another few months for the visa to get processed. Lots of skilled foreigners have been getting screwed over and leaving for good.
