I always found it fascinating how western media hates Russia so much they'd rather believe the entirety of NATO can't outproduce North Korea.
Declaring war on North Korea would imply also declaring war on the PRC. Since the DPRK is the only mutual defence treaty that the PRC upholds. Unfortunately, I don't think that will be the case.

I know. That is why I support China going all-in on supporting Russia against Ukraine. Between sending Azov to HK in 2019, and their meetings with Taiwan offering support to the separatist government, China has plenty of reason to drop the hammer on them.
EDIT: To clarify, I hope that Ukraine is truly stupid enough to get China to abandon its dovish stance. The US and EU will shit bricks if China threw her entire industrial might behind Russia. What are they gonna do? Sanction China?

The hesitance to support Russia signals weakness, not moderation. That is why the US and EU are ramping up the rhetoric and economic pressure even as their internal situation crumbles: because they smell hesitancy and weakness. This encourages saboteurs and internal militants who believe that they could escape unpunished due to a fear of acting.
There is no hypocrisy, and even if there was, hypocrisy isn't punished by the international community anyways.
Current messaging does not inspire confidence.
