It is a very strange story.
1) It does not matter where that Microsoft employee works, that person is still a Microsoft employee.
2) Why does Microsoft make this request? Did the US government asked them to ask? Or is America really short of qualified people?
3) If America is short of qualified people, just go ask some other country for their people. Surely some will jump at that chance.
4) Seem like a weak move to me. A move made out of weakness.
Unfortunately that courage has a short half life.

I wonder what happened to all those westerners from pre 2016 who insisted that Chinese and asians in generally could not innovate because of all that rote learning and supposedly posssessing no creativity unlike the pure pristine white races and especially the ashkenazi IQ jews, to comment on this. I expect them do a Francis Fukuyama recanting of “the end of history” but then i remember these westerners are also spiritually indian and will lie and believe their own lies.
They had literally three years to prove to the world that they are capable of being players but given that this conflict in Ukraine involving many French mercenaries getting blown up and the French weapon stockpiles that was sent being destroyed plus the whole energy sanctions against Russia (I mean seriously, Russia has customers, it’s not like not selling to the French is going to hurt them in any way, just that they don’t have to sell to an annoying client) that epic fail blasted the French economy into the literal toilet and the subsequent turn of events that got a few African nation to tell the French to bugger off, I can safely say that the French are simply not capable of being real players in the world stage anymore except be Washington’s betch. Macron is literally a Karen as of now whose accomplishment right involves trying to push others to fight Ukraine and failing miserably as of now to accomplish anything except make Russia angrier

It seems logical why Macron is trying to lean towards Asia and Eurasia and attempting to join BRICS, and Why Russia and China are favouring maintaining high level political contact with France. France is about the only EU country that is not occupied by the US, is a nuclear power, is militarily stronger than other EU puppets, and has access to multiple seas. Who knows, maybe in the near future France will make serious commitments, let go of its colonial past, and join BRICS.
