Yeah, nah that's not in the Indian character. You're transferring Chinese behaviour onto the Indian diaspora. Chinese diaspora were instrumental in building up both the ROC and PRC in the Deng era based on a sense of cultural and national affinity in the sinosphere.
In words, deed and action the Indian hebaviour is to act like a feudal lord and kiss ass to those in power and crap on those below. The effect is that Indians do what they can to escape India and once in the anglosphere/the west, they do everything they can to garner more power and resources for themselves, no matter how shameless, take this for eg:
Once in the West, the Indian diaspora acts as a vote bank to get more of their own people into the nation and into local government bureacracy/bank bureacracy. Not once in the past 40 years since India opened up, have i seen an Indian entrepreneur do the same as the Chinese sea turtles in going back to India to build india up; more often than not, it's to expedite the anglo boomer aim of offshoring jobs to india eg telemarketing, backoffice jobs etc.
What a difference a decade makes; as recent as 2014, you had american politicians and pundits and mouthpieces waxing lyrical about how 'Chinese can't innovate' and now that Chinese have developed an app that is taking the western youth by storm, the american attitude is not to put their heads down and develop a better app, or to use that 'white supremacy' or 'ashkenazi IQ' or 'liberal freedom' and 'end of history liberalism' to build a more attractive app, it's to try to steal Chinese tech.
Around the same time, Blinken had this to say:

Yeah, i dont see Chinese forcing Apple to be sold to Chinese party members, but this sort of behaviour is what is described by Blinken's people as 'chutzpah'. Whislt we would correctly recognise this as shamelessness, the connotation in Blinken's political culture is one of daring and boldness. Naturally, the israeli worshipping Indians are naturals at chutzpah, hence why some would find no problem in abusing food banks for their own gain. "If i don't steal it, someone else will".
