How does China have the biggest military buildup when US also built up to 11 aircraft carriers, a larger 5th gen airfleet and the largest military + militarized police in the world?
Any buildup China has been engaged in is only to counter threats that America has explicitly made through words and actions.
More buildup is needed, not less. It ill befits the largest economy in the world to have a smaller army than the no2. Especially when said no2 has invaded multiple countries illegally in the last 10 years.
Chinese people can afford a little bit more tax.
