President Biden does not plan to meet Chinese counterpart Xi at G20
U.S. officials have been on a charm offensive as tensions between the world's two largest economies run high.Basically confirmed Xi is not attending G20. G20 without China is just G0, perhaps Biden will find an excuse to skip too. Two more big meetings coming up, BRI forum and APEC summit.

Indians are making this about themselves as usual. If Russia went, the G7 nations in the G20 would have boycotted it. China also ignoring it also means they're refusing to take sides against Russia over the G7 nations in the G20. Imagine what headlines would be spun by western media if Xi turned up in India and Putin did not.
China has attended other conferences hosted by India without incident.
