Guess Russia's going to have to own up to China being an equal and perhaps sooner rather than later, the pilot rather than first class passenger when it comes to Central Asian politics.

Russia interaction with Central Asia take into account its own Muslims and Arabs. since Arabs influence will grow more than any one else in world if i would advising China i would sign up Power of Siberia 2. Russian muslim population that is driving force behind alot of things from Ukraine to Mideast and they will impact its relation with China.

Turkmenistan does have interaction even in Siberia.

Turkmenistan sent humanitarian aid to children affected by the flood in the Primorsky Territory of the Russian Federation

Zhu speculated that representatives from Turkmenistan, the remaining Central Asian country, were not among the visiting group because the country had relatively little interaction with the outside world, including Xinjiang, and “is not a member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation” led by China and Russia.

How significant was this Mate 60 Pro?

I am beginning to think, that is it right up there with the PVA crossing the Ya Lu River, or the Tet Offensive.

This is not exactly war, but you know what I am talking about. Those other actual war events, changed everything.

The appearance of this phone, and its specs, the industrial power behind that to make it possible, this feels like it will change everything too.

Come to think of it, the American reaction is the same, to all three events, stunned disbelief, their mouthpieces retreat in total silence.

At a minimum, we can safely assume, just like when PVA crossed the border, and the Tet Offensive, it changed the course of the war, and in turn it changed the course of history.

It is what Carl von Clausewitz said, that war is just an extension of the political process.

This tech war, I like following the tech aspects of it, and of course the various economic issues as well. Politics, I don't follow.

Therefore, this phone I know is a political event too. However, I do not believe anyone really knows what the fallout will be? Even though I suspect it will change everything.

The Korean War cemented the Cold War for the next phase in the history of North East Asia, which we still live with today. The Tet Offensive was the beginning of the end for the Americans in Vietnam.

There is one detail, that there is a stark difference between the PVA crossing the Ya Lu and the Tet Offensive. The former was really a defensive act. The latter was an attack.

The Mate 60 Pro, is a counter-attack by China Inc in the tech war. This is an opening shot of it, this new offensive.

More will happen.

Today's latest flavor of Western panic:

MSM- it's Europe that's the one pushing the US to fund the Ukraine War
“If the fighting ends in a stalemate in the winter, then there will be war weariness. The US will become less and less interested in what is happening in Ukraine, and it will become increasingly difficult for Europeans to convince Americans that Ukraine is an American problem.”
It is possible that in a year the American media will inform the world that the conflict was organized by Putin, Zelensky and Scholz. And the United States, as best they could, tried to reconcile everyone.

"We [France] are an Amazonian power through French Guiana. I would like Brazil and the powers in the region to accept our [BRICS] membership," Macron said.

, says EU Chamber of Commerce

The chamber president cited a recent business survey from June which found almost two-thirds of its members indicated that they would consider expanding their presence in China should market access improve.

“They [the US] are concerned not just with exports of chips to China, but the ability of Chinese companies to train their AI software outside of China and bring it back to China.

US wants to regulate smuggling of AI training data across borders and prevent Chinese from training data overseas and bringing back to China.... applying their successful anti-fentanyl smuggling experience..... oh wait.

Just imagine US govt trying to interdict some nerds carrying SSDs in a luggage or trying to stop Gigabit cloud-based computing data transfers.... What idiot MBA think-tanker created this policy.
