The standard western way of dealing with such problems would be sanctions against individuals. China should sanction the director of any museum holding stolen artefacts. If there is no progress, maybe the BRICS are a new platform for sanctioning western countries. If China and India both sanction the British museum and the other members go along as well, it'll be much harder for the UK to remain stubbornPretty weak still.
