Replacing Argentine Peso with dollars would not resolve Argentina's economy crisis. The so called far-right libertarian candidate is just another retarded politician that doesn't live in the real world. The only reason why he did well is due to Argentinians are desperate for changes as both right and left wings failed to revive the economy. However, the only true solution for Argentinians is to suffer like Greece with cut in welfare and consumption and much lower living standard for years in order to rein in inflation and stabilize the currency and debt.

Argentina's economy would probably be collapsed now without China currency swap. Many countries that seek China's help are ungrateful for it. If this far-right candidate got elected and enacted anti-China policies, China just needs to end the currency swap and let IMF and America to bail Argentina out.

Bolsonaro said the same thing before he was elected. Once in power he did a complete U turn.

Argentina is in less of a position to compromise. They're bankrupt and China is one of the few major countries that recognises Argentina's position on the Falklands.

China made a big mistake in not having insured Argentina and not having demanded economic responsibility from the left that governed the country.

110% inflation and economic stagnation is a disaster and the liberal right, unconditional allied of the USA, will come back stronger than ever and the USA may even give another coup d'état to hold the country in the future.

Argentina has soybeans, corn, meat and a large deposit of lithium very important for electric car batteries, in a strategic position in the south. The US will not save resources in installing another puppet regime and depriving China of a partner.

The same could happen to Brazil if Lula da Silva doesn't have help and demand for good results.

The liberal right of Latin America loves the UK and the US. They recognize the Falklands as British and ridicule the Argentine government for losing the islands.

Bolsonaro was conservative and was hated by liberals, unlike Milei in Argentina, who is a liberal and a puppet of the western power.

Another (partly) successful CIA operation. Lets see if it becomes a full success and he wins the elections.

However its fair to say that he wont be able to go full anti-China as business lobbies and foreign establishment will restrict his anti-China policies

What this would mean is China basically surrendering Argentina to the US. I don't think the situation has reached that point to go with such measures. But definitely the currency swap deal has to revaluated/renegotiated

I doubt he would have done a complete U turn had Trump won in 2019.

Lol how much have these supposed flawless operations actually helped them achieve gains?

South Korea is literally occupied territory, if they couldn't install whoever they want there, it would be worrisome, it'd be like if China couldn't put in whatever person as head of Macau.

Argentina is a garbage colony with nothing to its history besides being colonized. These countries are cowardly and corrupt by nature, but they are always a burden to achieve anything with. China doesn't mind letting the Americans try to mismanage this hot potato for a few months. You'll soon see them u-turn right back, because America ain't able to provide stability, security, nor prosperity for them.

More riots, new leader, and then they end up doing nothing in the end for neither US nor China anyways. But through such actions, China keeps probing and forcing out action that wastes time and resources for America, just so that US can keep it's own backyard in order.
