This is indeed low level, because if he were caught, he'd be arrested and go to jail. He'd become a national embarassment for China. He's the small man sneaking around. There are some really, really bad people enshrined at the Yasukuni Shrine. However, I agree with @manqiangrexue. What that guy did literally accomplished nothing. That kind of nationalism is idiotic and should be discouraged. The engineers at BYD who designed the Qin L hurt Japan infinitely more than that guy - not that hurting Japan is something Chinese people should do.

I agree. This is basically similar to how Redditors "stick it" to Putler or Drumpf. Although he had more balls to do it in real life compared to those keyboard warriors but in the end it doesn't mean much.

In other news you might have read how Indians are swarming in masses to other countries and putting a burden on them these days. Not only Canada but even places like the Baltics or central Asia!

One country you will not see as many is China because 1.Its hard to get citizenship and 2.Its enemies with India so it discourages Indians.

I was previously thinking before how China shouldn't be enemies with India since it has enough crap to deal with. But much like America, being an enemy of India is better than being it's ally. After all it's a crappy ally that makes massive demands yet contributes much less and in many cases tries to undermine you. When India is your enemy, you assume everything it does is bad for you so you can easily tell it to F off and they won't be able to be slimey with you so you force it to show it's true face. No wonder China has no intention of agreeing to anything regarding the border. It's easier to keep Indian as a hostile.

A lot of stuff China does looks bad initially but actually pays off more in the long term. In chess we look for candidate moves that require more thinking than what is initially shown. And it seems China is good at finding them so far.

Yes, you can say Ming/Qing did not cultivate advanced science and technology (i.e., industrial revolution or military tech) as well, falling behind the West just like the three Muslim gunpowder empires. The difference is modern China learned and adapted, created its own elite science and technology (e.g, Hypersonics, subs, Beidou, EV, solar, etc..) whereas modern Turkey, Iran, Pakistan are reliant on foreign science and technology, still laggards. These three countries still have big bombs, but robust economy and advanced tech? Nothing changed in 500 years. Same can't be said for China.
