This is basically China's subtle way of saying that they don't want to impose official sanctions on Israel since Israel has been a good partner but at the same time don't approve of Israel's war crimes either.
This is the ideal way of dealing with all issues: hidden and discrete instead of overt with pomp. Who would've thought that the most sanctioned country in the world would be supplying lethal drones to Russia? Nobody. Because they developed in secret. Do shit in secret so your opponents do not take precaution and create hurdles until it's too late. China appears to me to have developed so much so quickly even in the civilian sector while the rest of the world thought China was still decades behind (i.e. maglev/hsr, J-20, EV, etc).
And Palestinian fighters were already using Chinese arms since day 1 of the invasion; I didn't see anyone pick it up in Western media to date. I posted so many videos in the Palestine thread of fighters using Chinese sniper rifles, and some of ATGM.
More importantly, I think everyone knows that sanctions, apart from doing a little damage, are largely ineffective (i.e. Russia today), especially when you got USA willing to cut off it's limbs for you.
Well that is one nasty way to get rid some some of the most horrible Nazi supporters, send them to the front into what is literally an open mine field. Still I do wonder, how is this going to look in the long term. When they run out of Ukrainians, will they send NATO soldiers and once they run out of those, will they send US troops. Ultimately, is sending soldiers to an area without air support a good idea, it’s like sending potato’s into a masher, i don’t know if these people have too much pride in Them Or they are far away removed from the Consequences that they don’t care at all.
It will be forgotten in the long-term, just like the defeat in Afghanistan. In the short-term, they'll call it a victory. Take note, considering the attention span of the common westerner being not much greater than that of a squirrel, 6-12 months is considered long-term for them.
It took less than a year for NATO countries to forget that the group they'd been fighting in Afghanistan for the past 20 years were the ones providing safe passage for NATO to exit the country while holding the reigns of power in Kabul. All that al-Qaeda Taliban 9/11 mumbo jumbo ended at Kabul airport with NATO soldiers scrambling like rats at a Walmart on Boxing Day.
