Real question is how it compares with Indian QC.
I mean even if they are both crap, if I tell the Vietnamese guy it needs to be better, next time he will give me something better.

If I tell the Indian it needs to be better, he will somehow play victim and act like I'm in the wrong even though I'm the one paying him for something he failed to deliver for the expected standards. And even behind closed doors he will not reflect on it because he actually believes his stuff wasn't crap.

I wouldn't call it just a "few" vulnerabilities related to energy, food and certain technologies that require western components.

There's so much interdependence because China went all in with globalisation.

Even by 2030, there will still be much of this, particularly around semiconductors, because it takes years of effort and is arguably the most difficult industry to develop.

But my guess is that by 2035, China will manage to build out an entirely separate, world-class semiconductor supply chain at scale.
You have to make a difference between commerce and strategic vulnerabilities.

Chine went all in with globalisation because globalisation basically was creating full industries and supply chains in China.
This has been tremendously helpful for China to train skill workers, managers, engineers, etc.

There is no interdependence, there is dependency of China.

Don’t believe western propaganda when they say that China need them to buy their products. This is same delusion they suffered with Russia x10.
For any country is easy to redirect is production to fill internal consumption or to find new customers.

The west without China would become Venezuela under sanctions . Basically 0 products. They have 0 leverage there, although they still didn’t learn after the fiasco of breaking Russia though not buying gas.

On the other hand China really had strategic vulnerabilities in supply of energy, food, aircrafts qndin some parts of microelectronics supply chain. The strait of Malacca was a classical issue

The first 2 basically have disappeared since Russia can provide anything China needs through their own frontier, and they are working in expanding this capacity and commerce. China still may want to have some alternative suppliers but it is basically inmune to the West already.

The microelectronics supply chain will be solved even before 2030 at the current path of Chinese lithography.

Aircrafts maybe a little bit more time but for 2030 there should be enough production to absolute non western aircraft’s between China and Russia. Chinese Comac still used western equipment but I suppose for 2030 this could be solved, and in anyway Russian MC21 is in theory ready this year so they could always buy from the Russian or buy the licences and just produce in a FAL in China

What's really ironic is that Ian Fleming, the writer of the James Bond novels was a homophobe. In his books, he likes to portray the hardcore Soviets and commies as homosexual, ugly, and degenerate people. While the West is full of handsome straight men, who are just superior in everything. This is best highlighted in the novel: "From Russia with Love". He portrayed two different types of Soviet women. The loyal Soviet woman, Rosa Klebb, is an ugly masculine b*tch who is homosexual. While the beautiful Soviet woman, Tatiana Romanova is straight, disloyal to her nation, dislikes Russian men, and can only be satisfied by a British man like Bond.
Uh, odd that the henchmen in Diamonds are Forever were 2 gay American men, then:

China to provide ‘lethal aid’ to Russia, says UK defence secretary

Probably your usual Western propaganda, but what if...
PLAGF must have absolutely fck-tons of 152mm and older 122mm artillery in storage, both towed and self-propelled, which it no longer has any use for (esp. 152mm). Maybe it could donate that?

What happened to the "SUPERIOR VIETNAMESE QUALITY" that a lot of these Vietnamese anti-China chihuahuas keep yapping on a lot of social media?

Chinese cars had terrible crash test results when they first hit the European market. But they massively improved and now are on par with the best the west has to offer.

The key question is how Vietnam response to these early issues. The fact that there are early issues by itself isn’t all that unusual.

During World War 2, decades before the US went insane and turned itself into the Neocon/Neolib US, the US served as the arsenal of democracy. It supported the British Empire, China, Russia and any other nation in their fight against fascism.
This is kinda American history revisionism. Until they enter the war US sold weapons to Nazi Germany.

And their support to the Soviet Union is grossly exaggerated, they only provided some civil transport staff.

The only real arsenal of the fight against Nazi Germany was the Soviet Union, who basically defeated them, with Americans entering the war when the Germans were losing already.

The reality is that the U.S. has been a crazy aggressive imperialistic country since it’s conception.

It started robbing half of its land from Mexico. Texas, New Mexico, California, Nevada… basically without that original sin the U.S. would have never been a relevant country.

It had a genocidal Manifest Destiny policy to kick out native Indians and Hispanic population from different regions.

Then declared war on Spain to steal Cuba, Guam, Puerto Rico and Filipines. Filipinos is still a US fully pledge vassal. Puerto Rico a colony where the citizens does not have full rights. Guam a military base and Cuba luckily for them got free.

They had a Monroe doctrine and decide that can’t be other powerful country in that region, so they proceed to assassinate politicians all around South America, also using bad arts to make Argentina go from one of richest to one of poorest countries in earth.

I think is time so that people of the world both in the West and in the Global South get rid of that myth.

US policy is not bad due to neocons. US policy has always been evil, imperialistic and neocons are just the last stage of the Manifest Destiny supremacist view of the worlds

Ian Fleming is not the only homophobe of his era. Frank Herbert created House Harkonnen as his Soviet Union counterpart in his Dune universe. The leader of the Harkonnens, Baron Vladimir Harkonnen was portrayed as a homosexual, pedophile, and rapist. There is something about writers in the 1950s, linking homosexuality to depravity, and depravity to the communists. While good conservative values are still preserved in the West. Imagine if Ian Fleming and Frank Herbert were recalled from the grave to witness the West today. Oh, the irony! I just wonder what stories would they be able to write this time. Lol!

Oh yes, they wet dream every night about genociding more coloured people in East Asia. They have massacred Chinese, Japanese, Koreans, Vietnamese, Arabs, and South Asians over their history. Yet they still wet dream for more. That is why nukes are no longer a luxury for China anymore, but a necessity. They must be made aware that the Chinese people won't allow themselves to be genocided ever again without a reply.
Yeah, anglosaxon has some kind of delirium about themselves, it is definitely pathetic in the time of Internet where the reality is visible, but in older times people around the world fall more for their outrageous self propaganda.

About western elites hating the rest. I am a Spanish who have lived in Germany, Norway and Switzerland.

I would like the people in the East to know the crazy amount of hate that people have to Russians, Chinese, Africans and others. It is really shocking.

The amount of hate towards China and Russia I have listened in central and Northern Europe is crazy, without any reason, a mix of ethnic hate, fear and arrogance.
