Seriously, when all is said and done, their will come a time when the empire falls to its own hubris that each and everyone of these war mongers and murderers of the innocent will not only end up being tried, whether in this life or the after life and all these silly talk shows will be the evidence that will damn them. I am not sure how these people can be so proud of their actions because like in all story’s of old, these people one way or the after are destined to lose, I mean look at Colin Powel, before the Iraq war, people sort of respected him but after that until the time of this depth, he ended up a disgraced man that not very many people could be bother remembering

That's not entirely accurate. Evil people can have happy, respectful endings. There are countless genocidal, mass-murderers who are still respected and honored today. Evil is evil, but if conducted "properly", it can achieve a lot.

Truman and Roosevelt, presidents that nuked civilians are highly respected in the US; two aircraft carriers are named after them. Winston Churchill killed 2-3 million in the manufactured Bengal Famine, and he is immortalized in Britain and Canada with monuments and buildings named after him. Portuguese and Spanish conquistadors wiped off most of the native population of the Americas, but these countries are still around and honor their conquistador forefathers. British and French colonialists also genocided American natives but Canada and US haven't failed yet after 300+ years.

The FAA investigates after Boeing says workers in South Carolina falsified 787 inspection records

SEATTLE -- The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration said Monday it has opened an investigation into Boeing after the beleaguered company reported that workers at a South Carolina plant falsified inspection records on certain 787 planes. Boeing said its engineers have determined that misconduct did not create "an immediate safety of flight issue."

In an email to Boeing's South Carolina employees on April 29, Scott Stocker, who leads the 787 program, said a worker observed an "irregularity" in a required test of the wing-to-body join and reported it to his manager.

"After receiving the report, we quickly reviewed the matter and learned that several people had been violating Company policies by not performing a required test, but recording the work as having been completed," Stocker wrote.

Boeing notified the FAA and is taking "swift and serious corrective action with multiple teammates," Stocker said.

No planes have been taken out of service, but having to perform the test out of order on planes will slow the delivery of jets still being built at the final assembly plant in North Charleston, S.C.

Boeing must also create a plan to address planes that are already flying, the FAA said.

The 787 is a two-aisle plane that debuted in 2011 and is used mostly for long international flights.

"The company voluntarily informed us in April that it may not have completed required inspections to confirm adequate bonding and grounding where the wings join the fuselage on certain 787 Dreamliner airplanes," the agency said in a written statement. "The FAA is investigating whether Boeing completed the inspections and whether company employees may have falsified aircraft records."

The company has been under intense pressure since a door plug blew out of a Boeing 737 Max during an Alaska Airlines flight in January, leaving a gaping hole in the plane. The accident halted progress that Boeing seemed to be making while recovering from two deadly crashes of Max jets in 2018 and 2019.

Those crashes in Indonesia and Ethiopia, which killed 346 people, are back in the spotlight, too. The families of some of the victims have pushed the U.S. Justice Department to revive a criminal fraud charge against the company by determining that Boeing's continued lapses violated the terms of a 2021 deferred prosecution agreement.

In April, a Boeing whistleblower, Sam Salehpour, testified at a congressional hearing that the company had taken manufacturing shortcuts to turn out 787s as quickly as possible; his allegations were not directly related to those the company disclosed to the FAA last month. The company rejected Salehpour's claims.

In his email, Stocker praised the worker who came forward to report what he saw: "I wanted to personally thank and commend that teammate for doing the right thing. It's critical that every one of us speak up when we see something that may not look right, or that needs attention."

Based, this is the exact same organization that threw Russia out and supports Ukrainian nazi causes and Israeli genocide.

Some may think that China is far away, and this is just sentimental, but China, from that far away, was the biggest source of our FDI for the last three years, 2nd trade partner, and the biggest infrastructure provider. Their firms are also our top 3 exporting firms, and we will soon have no tariffs on 95% of our exports. Now the only country in Europe to have such a "shared future" agreement with China, making us the closest ally.

Too little, too late.

So Japan wanna rival China's BRI in the Global South? Only 10 years later, when BRI has proven to be a stunning success, that Japan suddenly woke up to the new reality and started scrambling to compete with China? Now they have to deal with the consequences. Besides, if Japan is doing this for political reasons. Then they'll definitely stand no chance against the BRI.
Indeed, it's too little too late. China's trade with BRI may exceed its trade with the rest of the world by 2030.

That's a huge crowd. I guess you won't see it in Western MSM.

Italy withdrew from BRI because of forced Uyghur labors. But now they are allow freight trains from Xinjiang to pass...
