She sees it as the better choice than what the west has done and ponders that the "genocide" myth was to demonize china because China actually has a non-freedumb-bombing working solution.

I don't know if China found a better solution but the fact is Westerners make it so easy to hate them. They hide behind human rights and everyone knows they don't actually care about it unless it gives them an excuse to hate someone else. Do Westerners actually care about Uighurs? They only care enough to give them an excuse to hate Chinese which is more important to them. Why do Jihadis not see China as the West does? Because they even know the West could care less about Uighurs. It's about the West trying to drive attention away from them to China.

(Bloomberg) -- US and Chinese officials have agreed in principle on a meeting next month between Presidents Joe Biden and Xi Jinping, though the two sides must still finalize the arrangements, according to an American official.

The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss the matter, added that details of the get-together, which would likely occur during the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in San Francisco in November, were still being worked out. China’s embassy to the US cited the city as a possible venue.

It mostly just boils down to the MSS being too overpowered. They found out everything about the terrorists, were in all their conversations and put pressure on anyone they know in order to isolate them. Jihadists can only be effective if there's a support network.

With the MSS nowadays having it's own complete electronic ecosystem, it has reached a similar strength as CIA/FBI. But unlike those, they are fully loyal to the country and don't have their own agenda.

A piece of news that's gone under the radar (I suspect China intentionally timed it this way)

Myanmar's MNDAA is now on the verge of taking over Kokang, an ethnic Chinese area that they lost in 2009 to Myanmar's government.

Many in China are supporting it as they believe MNDAA will get rid of the scammer industry that they believe is run by the "4 big families" of Kokang, which collaborate with Myanmar's government
