Good. We can only hope they will now confiscate all Vivo's owned Indian assets

Why India will never be the next China in a nutshell. Despite toxic Sino-American relations due to tech war, trade war, and the pandemic, China is confident enough to let Elon start a Giga factory in Shanghai. Initially it created competition for local car makers, but those who couldn’t adapt died and the Chinese auto industry became much stronger as a result. India, on the other hand, managed to create a toxic environment for foreign businesses despite companies like Apple, Dell, Ford, etc. trying to help them in an effort to derisk/decouple from China. They are satisfied with grifting companies for short term gain than any long term strategic thinking.

WRONG!
Actually in this way India BEAT China.

Many westerners said the forced JV companies were a way for China profit off western companies' hard work. Yet western companies are still operating in China, but many have withdrawn from India. India has been more successful in fighting off predatory foreign companies.

Jai Hind!
