And the Japanese just take it, is was so bad that is unbelievable that the Japanese didn't realigned themselves with the soviet block. But everyone in Japan just seem to have very short memories.

Japan had no choice because #1 it was under military occupation and #2 it was and still is heavily dependent on the foreign market for economic development.
