And no, it should not start by sending drones within 12nm of its renegade province, but a massive manned fighter and bomber combined force, all loaded for bear with clear and aggressive rules of engagement, which should be publicly announced well beforehand. So something along the lines of, anything locks on and it’s fires free.
Sending unmanned drones is all but begging the RoC to shoot first thinking the risks and costs of doing so would be acceptably low. And if they actually summon up the balls to shoot down the drone, China will then need to respond accordingly aggressively but there isn’t much of the sausage left to Salami slice at that point.
