david p Goldman of Asia times, aka the Spengler had a good interview recently, where what struck out to me is that the Western manufacturers like in Germany have no choice but to go to China, for its market or for its factories, and that the greens, basically a CIA front, have relegated themselves to a dead end.
but to be clear, Goldman is no sinophile, he wants the west to have what China has, But to his credit, Goldman is somewhat objective, as belies his training in asset managemen.

I remember reading about the S Carolina plant also had serious QA issues, it was so bad that some airlines even refuse taking delivery of 787s assembled there or specify in the contract for Everett assembled planes only.

Moscow attacked by drones – mayor​

Drones attacked the Russian capital on Tuesday morning, damaging several buildings, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin has said.

Sobyanin ordered the evacuation of residents from the two apartment blocks that were targeted, according to several messages posted on Telegram.

The mayor, citing data from the city medical services, said that no residents of the buildings hit by the aircraft were seriously hurt. He added that two people requested medical assistance at the scene, but no one had to be taken to the hospital.

Moscow Region Governor Andrey Vorobyov wrote on Telegram that “several drones” were shot down by air defenses as they were flying towards the city.

Kiev regime behind terrorist attack against Moscow – MOD​

Tuesday morning’s drone attack on Moscow, which hit several buildings, was orchestrated by Ukraine, the Russian Defense Ministry has said.

“The Kiev regime launched a terrorist attack with unmanned aerial vehicles on targets in the city of Moscow,” a statement from the ministry said. The raid involved eight aircraft-type UAVs, all of which were hit; three drones that were suppressed by electronic warfare measures went out of control and deviated from their intended targets, the statement added.

The remaining five drones were shot down by a Pantsir-S air defense system operating outside of Moscow, according to the MOD.

The attack was first reported by Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin, who said on Tuesday morning that the drone raid resulted in several buildings in the Russian capital sustaining minor damage, with residents in the area temporarily evacuated. He noted that no one was seriously hurt in the attack, with only two people seeking medical assistance at the scene.

Aerospace is very manpower intensive relative to revenue it generates. Aerospace is measurement of strength of demographics and wealth of society. B787 fully consolidate around South Carolina its impact is creating Jobs at rate of eight times over state avg with much more pay. This a state with one of the largest BMW plant in the world.

The largest market for Mercedes and BMW is in China. You just have to get used to it. They produce the largest number of cars in China.
