A legitimate investigation into foreign ownership of natural resources is just a mask for a witchhunt...
Owned and run by a billionaire Indonesian family of Chinese origin — the Wijayas

3rd gen Indo-national, but CBC treats them like CCP agents.

The family’s ancestral hometown is Quanzhou. CV-03 is named for Fujian, give them something real to worry about.

Why? And how come? Is Ferrari still owns by FIAT and under the stewardship of Luca something, the person who ran Ferrari during the heydays of Michael Shumachers dominance in Formula 1?

Ferarri is still controlled by the Fiat founding family, but due to the failing Fiat auto group (sales dropped 90% since the 90’s). Because of the collapse of the main Fiat auto company, it was broken up into various components to preserve the family’s financial interests and protect the profitable parts like Ferrari, IVECO, and the farm equipment business further split from IVECO into CNH.

Sunce I don’t live in Europe, I have no idea how bad their cars were to collapse like that.

Tech sanctions I assume. Could mean that France would push for EU to stay out of the tech war that the US of waging against China.

In any case, I wouldn't trust him at all. No Western country can be trusted. Whatever Russia is doing right now, should keep doing it.

You just know that the moment the Russian "problem" is solved, Europeans will turn against China again. Don't forget the GFC 2008 mistake
Problem is France itself really doesn't have much to offer tech wise.

There's a few companies China could consider forcefully acquiring plaza accord style, but none of those are French.

I don't think China is too concerned over the Russian problem eventually being solved. They know there's no such thing as a forever war. When ceasefire happens in Ukraine, China will help invent a new theater to hold NATO down.

Bailing America in 2008 is billed as a mistake by many, but just a few years after that exchange, China surpassed America as the no1 economy. Injecting liquidity into US made China's industrial sectors vastly improve, while US remained stagnant.

China just needs time and to defend itself. That is because the geographics of China rigs the cold war in their favor. Resource wise they can access by far the most, the country is very defensible even against larger militaries and most importantly, unlike US which must rely on colonies to fill the manpower need, China has everyone packed inside the country already.

Imo it is (partly) a genetic issue, but not the one most think of. People always think of height being the critical difference in basketball but it's also wing span. Generally speaking blacks and slavs have longer limbs and larger hands (and are taller also) than the average Chinese male. Conversely, short limbs actually are advantageous for weghtlifting, swimming (short legs) and gymnastics. I don't know how or why these genetic differences happened, but that's how it is.
Depends which blacks; Nilotics, Bantus? Doubtful, they are certainly wider though.
Pacific Islanders tend to be larger than African Americans on average.

Asking for instructions from big daddy just before flying to Beijing. He probably had the call mid-flight lmao

All these European poodles going to Beijing is simply an extension of the anglos trying to get “guardrails” from Beijing ie to let up on the world of hurt headed their way from a Sino Russian “not an alliance but better than an alliance”.

The EU has not demonstrated sufficient autonomy and independence but rather slavish attitudes clinging to the anglos. Now it is up to the individual European countries to determine if they want to share in the pain and misery coming for them.

Plainly put, judging by the motivations of European leaders in the EU, their bottom line aligns with the Five Eyes: White western supremacy.

If they were true to their so called ideals they would have honoured Minsk and even spoken out about the silencing of duterte

Apologize for the Fox News link, but it is the only major news media reporting this at the moment. The alternative would've been to link directly to Tom Cotton's web site, which would've been worse:

Cotton has once again shown himself to be the most racist US senator around, which is not surprising. But more importantly, hopefully this serves as a lesson and wake up call for any Chinese who still think the US is a "safe haven" for their money, going forward. Honestly, if you're a Chinese citizen or company today and you're still looking to purchase real estate in the US either as an investment or as a way to get money out of China, you must be living under a rock. The West is not your friend.

trust me bruh us africans aint getting away with rape lol nor arabs look at the sentencing yall . My ancestors were brought over as slaves. We worked we worked in the jim crow south and moved north we worked in ny munitions factories in the 1900s we labored we served in ww1, ww2 korea and nam. We never raped 1 white women or any women tbh in my family line . Id appreciate it if so called anti imperialist can cut their fucking racist bullshit
Indeed. While a majority of white Americans are in the exploited class with zero mobility by default, the difference is that nearly all non white Americans are automatically put in this same lower class.

Throughout the history of America, it is ironically the formerly enslaved that knew the most about freedom and dared to fight back, whereas the European origin, despite how terrible their conditions were, always followed their leader like ants.

Italy thinks Pirelli is some kind of high tech.

While Italy is decades away from being able to offer anything scientifically to China, in terms of the social sciences, Italy has achieved the key milestone of integrating fascists with lamp posts, this is a social technology area that China must achieve breakthroughs in.

This is a great proposal. There's enough corrupt half-wits hiding their ill-gotten wealth in the anglo colonies as it is. Anyone who unironically still believe in throwing money into the anglo Ponzi scheme deserve to part with alot more than just their money.

The Navy is pursuing what it calls a Hypersonic Air Launched Offensive Anti-Surface (HALO) weapon. But the missile’s top speed might not qualify as hypersonic, a program executive officer at Naval Air Systems Command suggested.

by U.K. watchdog over misuse of kids’ data
TikTok failed to get consent from their parents to process their data, British watchdog said.
The British watchdog said TikTok allowed as many as 1.4 million children in the U.K. under 13 to use the app in 2020, despite the platform’s own rules prohibiting children that young from setting up accounts.

TikTok didn’t adequately identify and remove children under 13 from the platform, the watchdog said. And even though it knew younger children were using its platform, TikTok failed to get consent from their parents to process their data, as required by Britain’s data protection laws, the agency said.

The company said it disagreed with the watchdog’s decision.

“We invest heavily to help keep under 13s off the platform and our 40,000-strong safety team works around the clock to help keep the platform safe for our community,” TikTok said in statement. “We will continue to review the decision and are considering next steps.”
