That's correct. However, the other guy was arguing it is ok for China to rely on importing even basic grains to feed the people.
He's an idiot that would make the kind of decisions that put China into a vulnerable and weak position. Self-sufficiency in basic grains is a must. If you get cut off in wartime from imports of dairy, eggs, cheese, wine, fruit, meat, seafood, etc., that's no big deal. Cut off from your basic grains though and your society is finished.

The real reason some Westerners hate China - China points out an alternative route of development.

They hate China because it burst their bubble about them being superior in everything in comparison to the rest of the world. That's that stupid "garden" ideology that that idiot Josep Borrell talked about. It's something like a weird religious belief to them that they don't see a point in living without now. It is like you say to religious believers God isn't weird or arguing with a schizophrenic person.

They hate how China grows faster than them militarily, technologically, diplomatically, and economically. They understand that in 20 years, they would be completely left in the dust even more. Today the whole Collective West together is barely able to contend with China. Look at that new technological report that came out of Australia, it's obvious that only the Collective West can contend with China now, not just America. China already surpassed America, they are now in a Cold War against the Collective Colonizers West.

China still grows above 5% a year, despite coming so far, China still gets more and more influence in the world with every passing year, China still produces and incorporates around 5-7 times more weapons and two times the tonnage of warships than the US every year.

It was obvious that the Chinese system works better than theirs, we see it every day and it's only logical to be like that. They were inefficient and slow oligarchies, not democracies. China is tens of times more efficient and quicker than them, with less ideological bullshit, and pure work, getting the job done. China is so much more united in both politics and society, that it's not even funny.

They understand that with every year passing by, China grows faster than them in any way imaginable. That's why they want the Cold War, to stop its rise, that's why they constantly provoke over Taiwan, and Salami Slice, because they know they have a small chance to defeat China in a war today. But in 20 years, for example, they would have a 0% chance. It's better something than nothing for them.

As for peacefully accepting their beliefs shattering, moving the hell away from other countries' borders and spheres of influence, and making some kind of shared global governance, they can't accept that because of their ideological, delusional "gardener" beliefs.

I swear, sometimes people here clown India for thinking that they are more important than they actually are, and overestimating their strengths, when in fact in my opinion, the collective West is over worse than India in overestimating themselves and similar practices.

It turned out they were so richer than the rest of the world because of their "superiority", but because they held the rest of their world their slaves for around 500 hundred years, getting all of their resources, and getting the first step in the race that is still going on now.

It's easier for you to have "creativity" or whatnot when you have a full stomach, and a lot of time on your hands, unlike the rest of the world at that time. It's not that their "free speech", "liberalism", "human rights", and "democracy", that made them rich, it was their colonialism instead.

Colonialism gave them an opportunity to develop all of the ideas they preach today. All of the ideological bullshit came only after that.
When they were colonizing the rest of the world, they were not democracies, they were autocracies or better said monarchies.

In fact, that is more easily proven when you look at how China before colonialism came, was always above the West, weird timing.
Had China also decided to start colonizing at that time (they could, it was just not in their philosophy), they would've remained at the top.

Thankfully, China is finally getting back to its rightful place as the natural leader in the world (not a hegemon, but a true leader). And thankfully, the West decided to make it happen sooner, later than later, in their final gamble. They decided for it to happen around 2027 instead of in 2050. All the better for other countries in the world waiting to finally be free. They lose on Taiwan, they lose on everything. And they decided on that.

This is why I havent even renewed my car registration since covid started

Im barely working (doing real work) 15 minutes a day...

To be fair I think that’s par for the course if you have a white collar job, especially if you are in middle management. I still can’t figure out what half of the people in a company actually does.

After the thing yesterday with McCathy no longer going to Taiwan and Tsai going to the US instead, now they're softening that even more:
Taiwan’s presidential office, in a brief statement responding to media enquiries, said “transit arrangements” had been in place for many years, without directly mentioning the US.
Lol transit, you can sugar coat it all you like PLA is still going to do their thing if she leaves that island.
Seems like Xi really spooked them with his speech.

Sounds like slavery extra steps

Current 52 Hours = 40 Regular Hours + 12 Overtime Hours

Proposed 80.5 Hours = 69 Regular Hours + 11.5 Overtime Hours

But you get to have 0.5 hours less in OT in exchange for an extra 29 hours of slavery.
