I just don't understand this kind of people, being Chinese and an intellectual at that, they should understand their history and what role the West had done to us. It's an insult if they pertaining China current economic condition to the benevolent of the West. It's a two way street and the West gain a lot more from the hard work of the Chinese masses.

Trump is looking ahead laying the ground work for his reelection in 2024, he want to be relevant politically and is laying claim at this early stage the leadership of the Republican party, he want to be a king maker in the 2022 election and want all the Republican politician to kowtow to him. For me it's an act of genius and poor Marco "the big hand" Rubio there goes his presidential ambition. Let see if he does kiss Trump ass:cool:

Live streaming the largest luxury duty free shopping center in Sanya, in Hainan Free Trade Port. The crowds are huge, as they enjoy the tropical weather during winter season. This shows the success of China in containing Covid. The situation is such a stark difference with Europe and USA, which are struggling with new lockdowns. The people here are enjoying themselves.

Hell I wish I were in China now. I explained the shopping mall and the tourist luxury taxfree in a previous post here.

Another good thing about China is that you don't have to exit a luxury mall and see homeless people lying outside.

Hi Crang,

Do you think China had to abolish the Hukou system, the one the western MSM called a draconian policy? It's advantages is very profound. Here in the Philippine , The Squatters or illegal settlers as a political correct term. contribute to the major cause of flooding in the city of Manila, they lived in the major waterway and creeks and use them to throw away their waste with plastic that clog the drainage. Aside from crime and drug addiction they also burden the city treasury with heavy debt for basic social service that we the Manila residence had to pay. Our solution copied from China is to establish growth center outside of the city and good infrastructure like rail and roads to decongest Manila and to let people live outside of it. A quality of life that all of us aspired too including the Squatters.

So the CCP leaders in their infancy had the audacity to introduce the Hukou, it's a brilliant policy and if introduce early will greatly benefit the city resources and it's inhabitant.

Can someone tell me if some patents are higher quality than others? If you look at these indicators, China, Japan, and South Korea are running roughshod over everyone, including USA and the European countries. Now I know some patents are more valuable than others, but is East Asia padding their patent applications or is something going on?

Asia. Makes most of the consumer products, there are a ton of fairly insignificant IP that revolves around the design and manufacture of each product. These are not game changing or revolutionary ideas. There are definitely varying levels of quality and importance for patents.
