Yes, petroyuan will take time to be implemented and there is no need to make a big fuss about it now. Using local currency for trade is no doubt an eventual goal for both sides.

More frequent use of each other's currency is also highlighted in the agenda of the Chinese government. In a report titled "China-Arab Cooperation in the New Era," which the Chinese Foreign Ministry released on December 3, China said it will strengthen monetary cooperation with central banks of Arab countries, and discuss expanding cross-border local currency settlement and swap arrangements.

This news, about Huawei making more deals and inroads into the Middle East, is not surprising, and is expected.

Frankly speaking, if some telecom company somewhere is buying gear, and maintaining their network, have we ever even read a story like that reported? Ever?

Wonder how the Americans will read that story.

It's their own fault. They built this grand narrative, which they must continue pushing. When reality pushes back, it could get funny.

China has already banned such Korean male bands. In a couple of years, Chinese companies like YMTC and CXMT will teach these Koreans a lesson, so that they would understand their country's position.

Hmmm I wonder if the USA will be able to accomplish these things when there entire grid goes down in time.


Consider how the USA is so geared for attack that in terms of defenses, there is practically nothing they’re given how crazy and woke they have gotten not to mention how weakened their infrastructure has now become. If their grid goes down and China finally decides to cut the USA loose, any attempts to repair the damage will have the exact same effect that it is happening in Ukraine right now, basically impossible to do given how China and Russia are the ones that have all the resources and are slowing losing any real incentive to given them anything given the decreasing worth of the US dollar and it’s treasuries. China will one day own the rest of the 5eyes (ie make then into colonies like the predecessors have done) that have value while those like Canada, UK and the US that have literally none and go right ahead off the cliff and no one will miss them at all

I started seeing comments like these. They are mostly from American Republicans. It is interesting how they perceive any lack of overt aggression as a weakness and something to be ashamed of. Not really world news but there is no other place I can muse about this in this forum.
