That's just a fancy way of saying for "we hope for a miracle".

And is that the policy now? Keep using Ukraine to prolong the war hoping for a 'Black Swan' in Russia?

An unexpected event inside Russia involving President Vladimir Putin or his inner circle could enable Ukraine to take back Crimea by the end of the year, the Ukraine’s deputy defense minister Volodymyr Havrylov has said.

He referred to the "Black Swan" theory in which an unexpected event upends previous calculations. "I think Russia can face a 'Black Swan' in their country, inside Russia and it can contribute to the success of us with Crimea," he said.

"We can step in Crimea for example by the end of December," Havrylov said, which was "possible" and "not excluded."

When asked what that unforeseen event could be, Havrylov replied, "Putin disappeared for example due to some reason," which was "physical or political."

"Or somebody from his circle, something happens, or maybe a combination of a very disillusioned society," he added.

Thai leader bowing to Xi Jinping, aka the Fumio Kishida gesture

Xi Jinping putting the power moves on Thai Prime Minister.

Thai Prime Minister was hypnotized and bowed to Xi Jinping. Then after Xi Jinping left, he tried to shake hands but Xi Jinping was already walking off.
I think you're reading too much into this. Both Xi and Prayut are too mature for this sort of thing. Leave the buffoonery of power moves to the Western clowns.

Imagine Europe's political landscape today if Europe wasn't excluding the largest European ethnicity.

It is one of those moments again where I am ashamed to be german :D

Rather debating how to constructively solve the self-imposed energy and industrial problems, how to reduce the anglo-american yoke over europe, get competetive wrt to chinese again, we talk about their whiteness being not white enough, jungle vs. garden, Chyna, Chyner, Wiggher KZ, whatever.

Seriously what are they smoking, can't be good for your health.

Billionaire (Bloomberg) apologizes over Boris Johnson’s China remarks – media

New York billionaire Michael Bloomberg has reportedly been forced to apologize to guests at a business conference in Singapore after former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson gave a speech condemning China as a “coercive autocracy.”

The ex-mayor of New York City and failed Democrat Party presidential candidate acknowledged to the approximately 500 Asian businesspeople and diplomats at the Bloomberg New Economy Forum that some guests may have been “insulted or offended” by Johnson’s comments, The Guardian reported on Friday.

“To those of you who were upset and concerned by what the speaker said, you have my apologies,” Bloomberg said, adding that the ex-PM’s incendiary remarks were “his thoughts and his thoughts alone.”

APEC summit at Thailand
Thai PM personally greeted Xi and his wife when they arrived at the airport, seated them as the main guests of honor at the APEC dinner gala, the next day invited Xi to the PM mansion for a bilateral meeting, and then personally escorted Xi and his wife to the airport when they flew back to China.

This !!! +99999...

Instead of being honest for a change and self reflecting on their misdeeds, they keep blaming others for their absurd and at times atrocious behavior, dragging Germany and the rest of Europe deeper into a hole. Unbelievable how these children, clowns and nutjobs ever got an audience , let alone into positions of power and influence.

I don't think pres Xi intentionally turned away from a handshake, it would be seriously out of character as China takes it deadly serious when it comes to respecting other countries regardless of size, as defined by international law. We saw that consistently in the past when they recieved representant from other countries and always gave them equal acommendation, none of that "you're here to kiss our ring" bs

Average salary after taxes is 25.500€ per annum in germany, of course all the dimwhits in the german parlaments dont care what happens with the common folk, they get 10.000€ per month.

This german website breaks it down quite nicely, they get 10k per month themselves plus 23k for their subordinates and they often just employ their friends and family als their assistance, speaking of nepotism....
