Incentive to work with China to develop an alternative to US technology. Really the USA seems to love dangling this technology in front of China, I would love China to do what they did before, develop an alternative and given the finger afterwards… that will trigger something painful and hilarious for all of us

Nah when it comes to EV battery China is already dominant, by a large margin too:
catl-battery-market-share.png
By market share Chinese battery makers are something like 56% of the world market. South Korea 20something%, Japan 10%.
CATL is by a wide margin the world leader. Their battery packaging is basically black magic and unbeatable. So you can see why the American are trying to do the Huawei thing again.

“India does not believe in a world order where few are considered superior to others,” he said, adding that India’s own strategic policy should be “moral.”

If security were to become a truly collective enterprise, then the world could begin creating “a global order which is beneficial to all of us,” Singh added.

National security should not be seen as a “zero-sum game,” he insisted, adding that nations should instead seek to find “win-win” solutions that would benefit everyone.

“We should not be guided by narrow self-interest which is not beneficial in the long run,” the defense minister warned, calling for leaders to adopt a principle of “enlightened self-interest” that would make their nations more sustainable and resilient to shocks.

Yeah. What about these:

Rajnath Singh said this in April:

“I cannot say openly what they (Indian soldiers) did and what decisions we (the government) took. But I can definitely say that a message has gone (to China) that India will not spare anyone, if India is harmed. (Bharat ko agar koi chherega to Bharat chhorega nahi,” he said.
So India picks a fight with China. But if India is harmed, then India will not spare anyone? Would India not spare Chinese civilians if Jawans are killed over a war that India starts? This is the message of the 'peaceful' Rajnath Singh.

'Peaceful' Rajnath Singh had also twitted this before:
As if Tibet and Aksai Chin was ever India's to 'lose' to China. This sounds like what Hitler was saying about Austria and Sudetenland.

Rajnath Singh comes from the offshoot political party of the RSS. This is his real agenda for India's own vision of the 'world order': Akhand Bharat:
Akhand Bharat Map.jpg
His country is on Hindutva fever ever since his BJP came into power, with more conflicts with neighbours than the pervious 20 years. Is Akhand Bharat going to be a peaceful journey? The RSS chief, Mohan Bhagwat has this to say:

Hamari gaadi chal padi hai, bina brake ki gaadi hai, sirf accelerator hai. Jo rokne ki koshish karenge, woh mit jayenge. Jo aana chahe, woh hamare saath aa ke baith jaaye, gaadi rukegi nahi (Our car is on its way. It has no brakes and only the accelerator. Anyone who comes in the way will be destroyed. Those who want can come join us in the car. This car won’t stop),” Bhagwat said, addressing a gathering in Haridwar.

“‘Akhand Bharat’ will be a reality in the next 20-25 years if we keep going at the current pace, but if we put a little more effort — which we definitely will — this time will be reduced by half and we’ll see it happen in 10-15 years,” he added.
Does this sound like an India who is seeking "win-win" with other nations? Especially its neighbours?

Yogi Adityanath, Rajnath Singh's BJP colleague had this to say about Indian Muslims:

Muslims who chose to stay in India when it was partitioned following independence from Britain did the country "no favours", Yogi Adityanath, one of India's most controversial right-wing politicians, has said.
"They should have opposed partition, which led to the formation of Pakistan," he told BBC Hindi's Nitin Srivastava in an exclusive interview.
"We aren't the biryani-eating people", Mr Adityanath has said on the campaign trail, adding that after becoming PM, Mr Modi has been "shooting terrorists with bullets rather than giving them biryani."
He told the BBC he stood by this statement.
This is how Muslims are being mentioned in India today. Yogi's hateful words has become popular in Hindutva India. If India ever realizes Akhand Bharat, it will become an ethno-religious-facist empire. Non-Hindus and minorities are not going to be treated humanely there.

Never ever trust India's words to foreigners. Watch their actions and their internal conversations, those always speak louder than India's own words.

It's kinda empty rhetoric that if Indians are harmed they will not spare anyone... A year or so ago, did PLA troops not chase off indians by microwaving them, causing a few dozen to fall to their deaths into rivers and off cliffs? Even after being slain in this humiliating manner, the warriors of Akhand Bharat do not retaliate, instead, India speaks about stability, dialogue with China, maintaining trade with Russia and so on.

They're just mouthy without real world action imho.

I do not believe any self-respecting Asian country wants to be trapped, or to be a vassal or, worse, to be a theatre for proxy battles. So, I am trying to make the argument for what the rest of the world wants.
Then Singapore should stop peddling American talking points, joining US-led anti-China initiatives like IPEF, and hosting US bases. Plus lots of young Singaporeans are brainwashed to worship the West and hate everything Chinese due to Western media blasting their propaganda rupors at full power there.

It's amazing how far Panasonic has fallen. Having their ass handed to them by mostly vertical BYD must be absolute humiliation.
