To paraphrase the racist quote against jews, "the West shrieks in pain as he strikes you".

You saw this attitude when Trump & Co. reacted angrily after China enacted reciprocal tariffs after Trump admin. started the trade war and had the gall to shout at China to "not react". You saw this attitude when the Anglo white supremacist Jackson Society wanted China to pay reparations for COVID. Make no mistake, this is the mentality of a religious narcissist, that all that they do, bombing and killing middle eastern and asian civilians is justified because the West is pure and does things out of noble intentions the same way european colonists massacred and genocided and enslaved non whites and stole land and resources as just 'payment' for showing the natives the Bible and spreading Christianity.

The CIA is the biggest narco-terrorist organisation in LATAM, Mexico is simply doing what it can to re-assert autonomy and sovereignty
Tbh when they themselves generally get hurt more from their own actions it isn't a surprise they shriek in pain as they strike you. It's more like, they shriek in pain when they shoot themselves in the foot trying to hit you.

America had its turn during the trade war, now we're broadly seeing China's turn where the global economy is being leveraged against USA, from inducing recession into NATO without any cost to China, to probing OPEC and potentially fucking with individual EU members to plant seeds of dissent within US puppets.

I predict China's next 2 moves as testing Japan's "loyalty" and furthering EU breakup. There is really not much US can do anymore after losing the trade war. If they keep isolating themselves on tech, they will end up the like the USSR. US policy to sacrifice client state welfare to stave off recession (unsuccessfully) at home has caused widespread dissent.

I think the Japan play will also depend on South Korea, although I'd say Japan is more important for China than South Korea due to its geography alone. If Japan is neutralized, then some country's position in SK also becomes untenable. It's a huge play.

As for how Japan will be tested, there's a bunch of tools: the current China-Russian airspace incursions, naval patrols near Diaoyu islands, the Korean card (both North and South), Nikon and TEL's position in China, Toyota and Honda's position in China, energy prices, etc.

MBS took the second worst way to build a city, to build it horizontally in a thin line.
Of course, the worst way is building it vertically (all the way up to the moon) lol.

Instead of taking all that money and wasting it on a Trumpian-wall style city, he should invest in something else

CCTV: Since the 18th National Congress of the CPC, China has made remarkable achievements in ecological conservation and made important contribution to promoting global climate governance. Due to the energy crisis, many European countries have recently delayed coal exit and emissions reduction plans. Under such circumstances, will China still commit itself to green and low-carbon transformation?
Currently, global climate governance is facing challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, sluggish economy, and energy and food crises. Some countries are rolling back their climate policies. We hope they will overcome the difficulties as soon as possible, return to the right track of low-carbon and green development and jointly strive to achieve the goals of the Paris Agreement. China is firmly committed to green, low-carbon and sustainable development. We will accelerate the green transformation of our development model, promote harmonious coexistence between humanity and Nature, take an active part in global climate governance, and make new, greater contribution to building a beautiful China and a beautiful world.
