Yes mainly Western forums and platforms like YouTube. Everything from Chinese made food to everyday items to military. Take for example the fictional Netflix show made by Russia I watched on futuristic human like androids in Russia. They were actually complimentary on Chinese tech and industrial might. With the most advanced model prototype designed and made in China. If this was an American or western show, they would be demeaning Chinese tech as useless or accusing it of being from stolen tech secret or some crap. And most likely also having a chinese sex robot or something to serve the white men. Okay, there was a short scene of asian sex robot but it's shown to be from Taiwan so I kinda approve....

Anyway I understand you have longstanding anti Russian feelings but as Prof Jin explained, everything has to be put in perspective when viewing Russia and the west actions or speech on china. Sure Russians may be talking shit on china sometimes but it's nothing compared to the west. One can even compare Russians and the westerners interacting with china.

It's like Russians may have had minor verbal spats or bully chinese person sometimes but westerners are coming in to outright beat the shit outta us and colonizing us, raping and pillaging, It puts stuff into context.
Again I can't speak for him in particular but personally I think Russia could always be brought closer. Consider for example there's minimal military integration in terms of platforms, no consistent, dominating mechanism for yuan cross border trades etc. Not to mention, Russia has mostly failed at sharing in China's growth as well as ideology.

It is not interesting to China what the west thinks about them, because the west is an enemy that will either be contained or destroyed. It is however of great interest that Russia stays in a type of mutual dependency.

Look at for example America and Germany. Germans are not going over the border to rape or kill Americans and of course like you say China also has no problem at all with Russian immigrants or Russians at home creating hate crimes. But nonetheless, US ensures that the Germans are curtailed in their potential to deviate from the bloc leader.

Unlike US, China will not demand allies to do anything that they aren't comfortable with just to further the homeland's ambition. However, that doesn't mean that allies shouldn't be prepared with the right mindset and right amount of modernization so that when the time comes, they will act in China's defense out of their own volition. For that, every nativist or pro west Russian power broker that is purged, is a (small) victory for China.

Sure Borell, you can keep telling yourself that the EU is a garden while (most of) the rest of the world is a jungle.

But hey, at least we know that the inhabitants in the jungle are not the ones who would be freezing this winter. But of course, being the "royals of the garden", you wouldn't understand a thing about that.

Yeah that guy is a worthless cu&t. And that is putting it mildly. Clearly he hasn’t pruned his garden all that well if the right tool for the job has been left in Siberia and the handy man from Beijing decided that right now is a good time to enjoy a jungle beach vacation in Hainan rather then accept yet another lecture on how to do a job that the fool clearly has no idea what to do

Damn. Palestine is playing with fire. I wonder why they would make such a statement tbh.

Two U.S. sources briefed on the issue told me Biden administration officials were furious and made it clear to Abbas’ advisers.
Abbas met Putin on the sidelines of an international summit in Kazakhstan and told him the Palestinians do not trust America and that the U.S. can’t mediate on its own between Israel and the Palestinian Authority.

  • “We don't trust it, we don't rely on it, and under no circumstances can we accept that America is the sole party in resolving a problem”, Abbas said.
  • The Palestinian president then added he is “happy and satisfied” with Russia's support of the Palestinians.
  • "Russia stands by justice and international law and that is enough for us," he said.

The last time the privileged were like: "Let them eat cake", it didn't end well for them.

Though I would dare to predict future history books will have updated the quote to "Buy a Tesla" instead.
