China wouldn't wait around simply because while Russia is on the attack and can take its time slowly destroying Ukraine, in China's case its a direct attack against them so they will be fighting back with 100% force on day 1 already, only increasing in force as the whole country gets mobilized.

If Japan attempts to reconquer Taiwan Island, it will not simply end with Japan being expelled from Chinese territory, there will be a campaign of denazification against the Japanese on their home territory. This is why China has not just built forces for national defense but also massive force projection capability.
Any Japanese leader or "emperor" (more like, king) would do well to consider that before attempting any claims that are not theirs to make.

Well after Bidens latest action against China with regards to chips, the only real crime here is how come Biden is still around.
