Yoon was similarly very anti-China during his presidential campaign but moderated his position significantly once he assumed office. Turns out it's easy to spew toxic rhetoric when you have no responsibilities but the game changes when you become head of state.
After he was sworn in and his advisors showed him the books he shut up. It's easy to talk big when you are ignorant.

Hopefully, pissing on China would ensure a recession in Italy, Weakening of a major Western power and member of 8 Nation alliance is always a good thing and the time couldn't be better, pray she's an Italian Liz truss and not a smart Sunak

Regarding Chinese phone company cutting price to carve a market in Indian smartphone business is such a stupid idea. Most of these companies sells smart phone at loss or bare minimum profit. On top of that many companies are establishing assembly plans and other marketing office etc investing more money in Indian economy who would ultimately replace them in a decade. India won’t thank you for your contribution but will ultimately brand you spy company and ban you.

for every smartphone sold in india, India will get more benefit than China. on top of that it will reinforce the idea of Chinese products are cheap and doesn’t last long. Chinese phone companies have already reached the top of value chain, they should act/sell like a quality company.
That's true, but for every phone sold by Chinese companies, the emergence of an Indian competitor is delayed. Smartphone assembly isn't difficult, so it's not like you can stop India from developing its own industry.

Most Europeans know very little about China. Wang Yi might be one of the first Chinese people she meets. She only knows China from TV as a far away place, which is communist and fought against fascism in the war. As a fascist herself, she can't support that. But she'll learn

When Covid first struck, China sent medical teams and supplies to Italy. If the gratitude and friendship gained from such support is easily wiped out by enemy propaganda, then China should rethink its naive do-gooder approach. At least, prioritize helping the people who appreciate the help.

That was when the five star movement was in charge in Italy. I don't think the Brothers of Italy are friendly with them.

Western democracies make poor partners because the relationship always changes depending on who gets into government, especially when the relationship with China becomes a partisan issue. That's why China's efforts to make the global south countries wealthy is so important to build up new partners

“in the event of a return of pandemics, italy will no longer be the experiment of the chinese model in the west, we will not follow speranza’s (health minister) model anymore and and we won’t listen to sorcerer's apprentices”

people like her for various reasons in italy. one of those reasons is that she seems to be relatively consistent when it comes to her ideas, at least compared to other politicians.
my understanding is that she never liked china and its people, so one can’t really talk about gratitude that has been wiped away, there was never gratitude to begin with from her and her party, but maybe I’m wrong, idk

I make a counter argument, IF you Willingly Accommodate the wealthy elite of each individual country then you will be accepted. It's not about national interest it's what good for the Oligarch and their Family, that is the formula of the Collective West in subjugating the Global South. Will the Chinese do it? Coming from an egalitarian systems it doesn't fit so you're right and it should come from below BUT with the current set up the Chinese need to dealt with them first and offer a compromise.
