Kwarteng: UK economy must expect more tax cuts and deregulation

Chancellor says he and Liz Truss want to do what previous Tory governments deemed unthinkable
Liz Truss plans to radically reshape the UK economy with even more tax cuts and fewer regulations, her chancellor has said, declining to set a limit on how much public debt could be incurred in the process.
“There’s more to come,” Kwasi Kwarteng told BBC One’s Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg, two days after his unofficial budget delivered £45bn of tax cuts, mainly for the rich.
He also denied his tax cuts predominantly favoured those on higher incomes. “They favour people right across the income scale,” he said.

Challenged over how a government with no new mandate could embark on such a radically different course, the chancellor said he was certain the public supported his ideas.
Asked about fiscal plans that will add about £400bn to public borrowing over the coming years, Kwarteng said he was committed to debt as a proportion of GDP falling over time, but gave no details as to how or when.

Europol is concerned of widespread of deepfake in disinformation. They predict that by 2026, as much as 90% of online contents can be "synthetically generated":

Disinformation is being spread with the intention to deceive. Tools of
disinformation campaigns can include deepfakes, falsified photos,
counterfeit websites and other information taken out of context to
deceive the audience.
In the original, strict sense, deepfakes are mostly disseminated
with malicious intent, although they are now often used for positive
applications too. Experts estimate that as much as 90 % of online
content may be synthetically generated by 2026. Synthetic media
refers to media generated or manipulated using artificial intelligence
(AI). In most cases, synthetic media is generated for gaming, to
improve services or to improve the quality of life, but the increase
in synthetic media and improved technology has given rise to
disinformation possibilities, including deepfakes.

In the conclusion, the authors have this to say:

In the months and years ahead, it is highly likely that threat actors
will make increasing use of deepfake technology to facilitate various
criminal acts and conduct disinformation campaigns to influence or
distort public opinion. Advances in machine learning and artificial
intelligence will continue enhancing the capabilities of the software
used to create deepfakes. According to experts, GANs, availability
of public datasets and increased computing power will be the main
drivers of deepfake development in the future and make them more
difficult to distinguish from authentic content.

If Xi doesn't show up in public (or on CCTV news) for a long time, we can maybe start speculate about a potential coup.
Xi is probably busy working behind the scene preparing for the 20th National Congress of the CPC, which will open on Sunday, October 16. So we won't see him for a little while. It doesn't mean that he has been overthrown.

Hopefully, the Philippines remembers their history: they were not only slaughtered, they were also exhibited in "human zoo".

This is how Giorgia Meloni, the soon to be elected Italian Prime Minister is portrayed in the Western media, just because she doesn't want to be a stooge of the US/NATO/EU.
she's in the us/nato camp (she says firmly), she doesn't like the eu.
do you know which country she despises even more than the eu? china.
how do I know? cause she never liked chinese folks to begin with, and since her last trip to washington in february she has ratcheted up the anti-china propaganda. I've listened to some of her speeches recently and I noticed that no matter the topic, she finds a way to insult china
it's a slow but methodical campaign to demonise china in the eyes of the italian people

she's anti-establishment, hence the criticism from lib-left outlets; she's probably close to the american alt-right scene
