Im still old enough to remember when Internet Explorer had 90% browser market share... the Firefox came along and slowly gained ground and at its peak had around 35% marketshare... Google paid Mozilla millions for them to package the search engine as a default in Firefox to complete with Microsoft...

Then Google wised up and decided to come out with their own browser instead, and for a time Chrome only had 1% marketshare...

Now everyone uses Chrome, Firefox is basically dead, and IE went to the graveyard, with its successor browser called Edge now using the Google Chrome engine under the hood...

I see the US dollar having at most 18 months left... if even that long. Watch that Jerome dude, he did a reverse 180 from last month, aged about 10 years, and know that the dollar is toast, its already game over for USD

I'm older than you bro, I remember using Netscape!

The days of dollar hegemony are numbered but should last longer than 18 months given major assets and financial instruments are still USD denominated, it'll take time to change this. Before Russia's SMO in Ukraine the USD hegemony probably had 10 years of shelf life left, and now definitely much less as the Global South goes yuan-rubles, those on the periphery of the China-Russia core will dedollarize quicker than say Africa and South America, but the trend is clear.

Ruble is backed by energy and commodities, Yuan is backed by manufacturing and tech, USD is backed by bullshit, the whole world sees this.
