Tsai has been extra quiet over the last few days, to the point that I'm seeing on those Taiwanese current affair show people are legit saying she needs to say something one way or the other. If things go loud Taiwan will be the battlefield and their leader wouldn't even have an opinion in this.
Of course we all know already the players at the board care not for the opinion of the pieces on the board, just ask the Kurds.
Tsai is useless.
A true leader would be interested in the well being of their followers. She is only interested in showmanship throughout her term.
1. During the height of the Covid crisis, she decided to use the media to snipe at PRC instead of just buy vaccines from Fosun as per the commercial (not governmental) contract.
2. Approved the imports of ractopamine pork from the USA after previously calling it poisonous. (KMT has done this too)
3. Continues to provoke the PRC which demands a high level of military readiness, but does nothing to actually reform the military which is suffering from Ma Ying Jeou's (probably deliberate) decision to get rid of full conscription terms. The current 4 month period has killed yet another soldier last week.
I am not Taiwanese or anything, so I do not feel too qualified to continue, but these 3 are obvious enough even to an outsider.
