There were a lot of near misses that almost caused a nuclear war during the Cold War. Its a miracle we passed that period without a nuclear disaster happening
Yes. But the point is that the Cold War did NOT go kinetic. Perhaps the US/China contest also won't go up in mushroom clouds. So there's some hope for those of us who want to live.

The radicalization of Korean folk is far beyond imagination.Based on inexplicable self-confidence, netizens in Japan and South Korea always feel that they can defeat the Chinese easily (with the help of Americans).
The formation of this self-confidence is realized by the media using various lens effects, site selection and theme selection to show China.

Koreans' infatuation with "great power status" is extremely morbid. However, I still don't understand why they choose to focus on the promotion of "South Korea is the origin of earth civilization".
One disadvantage to this kind of extreme belief that they are worth saving when the USA has to make a choice between themselves and these Asians that are nothing more then cannon folder, they should have seen when Afghanistan, with the Kurds, with Ukrainians right now, that the USA will drop there vassals the moment they have no value or simply not worth the trouble. With South Korea and Japan, it is easy to see where their confidence comes from given that they have never really been hit by China to the point where they are left begging on the floor for forgiveness, but mark my words, the only reason that China has yet to do this is partly due to the USA which I can definitely say that China and Russia are working together ever so slowly to push then over the edge and also partly due to the fact that China rarely ever makes the first move due to always being in a state of taking their time which has worked thus far. But should the chance present itself, well Korea and Japan now have two enemies to death with and both are far mightier than them. Also note that neither South Korea nor Japan have much of a foreign policy in the middle east and other global south nations so really, neither of these nations is really worth bombing at the moment but China will eventually have their way with both nations sooner or later when the time is right. IU know most people would love the shove a bomb up Pelosi's arse quickly but given China's previous track record in dealing with what ever Trump threw their way, I believe China will finally act to bring these people down as slowly and as painfully as possible.

Seriously. In 2022, the standard UPS trucks in the USA still don't have AC? Especially the ones in hot places like Arizona? Not surprised that the same thing could be happening in FedEx and US Mail trucks.

But damn, even UPS Thailand can provide their drivers with air-conditioned trucks.

Is it so expensive to procure air-conditioned courier trucks? UPS Thailand was able to convert standard pickup trucks into a courier trucks.
Really this just proves Thailand is a more developed country than USA... nicer people too...

Guess I'm just too aggressive a person, because I would have suggested shooting down Pelosi's plane. I mean, I'm done with all this sabre-rattling from USA. Absolute snakes.

Not too aggressive, I too was thinking the PLAAF should fire a PL-10 up her dry puzzy.

But it seems they're finding a way out...

The present conflict between the US and China is fundamentally different from the Cold War. The USSR was a conservative, status quo power; it was more or less satisfied with the outcome of WWII. It held territory up to half of Germany - any Soviet leader would look at that situation and think "that'll do." There is no Chinese leader who would look at China's periphery today and think "that'll do."
