The Indian "market" and "profits" are a mirage. See all the raids that the Chinese companies operating in India had from the authorities there. Do you honestly believe that India will let China make profits there? (Did you forget all the app bans)
You missed the prerequisite: If the Indian government were not this stupid, it would be a win-win for both countries.
One of them (RU) is not like the other.
As for the Rest, they are developed economies, so imo the net benefits in both sides comes out at about equal which is fine with me.
And for VN, I don't put them in the Western powers category. They got their own diplomacy, which is ok
All of these countries/bloc I listed, and some of them I did not, can become an enemy of China (well, some of them already are, sorta, kinda). By your same logic, should China stop doing business with them?
In the decades to come, the US is the archrival of China and even an existential threat to the people's republic, But I do not see anyone advocating to cut off the ties with the US.
While I don't think India will become a superpower it still has the most fundamental thing at the moment (scale of population) so there is still a possibility.
And because I am not a gambling man, if there is even a 0.01% chance of India becoming a superpower in the future, I prefer to crash/eliminate/prevent it now (or as soon as possible)
If you are worried about the potential of India, then you should not overlook Russia.
Learn from the US lesson, if they had followed the same strategy, they would have avoided all that mess with China (albeit China was/is always more capable than India)
You seem to have fell into the western narrative that China's success is a gift of the west.
The success, in fact as we know, is the result of both opening up and reform. It is the labor of decades by the billion Chinese.
Indians so far do not appear to have the willingness to reform. Nor do their politicians have the required wisedom for reform.
You mean the Jai Hind Indians who think that CCP is under their beds and fall over themselves to prove who is more anti-China than the other? Or the Indians who devoutly pray that the Three Gorges dam is destroyed?
Yes there is hatred and hostility. It is unfortunate. But It does not mean it cannot be changed. Russia wanted to nuclear strike China and take over the northern half of China.
No this isn't soft power.
What do you think of the influence of the foreign brands in China then?
This is bending over for Indians to like us. I would expect some people to say to do that for White people but honestly this is the first time I hear to do all this so we can basically get a pat on our backs from Indians...
So you think the Americans doing business with China are bending over for Chinese to like them? How about Chinese companies doing business all over the world? Are they bending over to the foreigners for a pat on the back?
It seems that, in your view, Chinese companies doing business in India is to give money and technologies to Indians. Are the Chinese companies actually losing money in the market, even with all the robberies and thefts by the Indian government?
If the Chinese companies were failing in India, why are those Indians doing the fearmongering?
If the Chinese companies were giving India technologies, why is the Indian government trying to push the Chinese companies out?
We can only change course with India when there is a mindset change from them.
Here we have a common ground.
The way they strategically think is mindblowing to me.
No argument here either. The Indian government is run by a bunch of idiots and wankers.
That they still keep up their ludicrous border claims and in China's weakest time they ambushed Chinese soldiers unequivocally proves that India is an enemy. Sorry, but nothing you or anyone else says will change my mind on that.
And because I consider India an enemy, I have a specific way to deal with enemies, crush them, mess up with them when they are weak before they grow. Nip it in the bud
But considering what the US has been doing to China, what would be you advice on dealing with that country?
