I think sentiments will change in a month or two when everyone forgets about the war. 2 million refugees is a lot of people to be accepting into your country who will be homeless and with no assets. When the Syrian civil war started there was a lot of public sympathy for Syrians (remember the child washed up on the beach?), but when they actually arrived it didn't take long to turn to racism. Syrian refugees now are associated with crime and terrorism. No context is needed. The video clip and the speaker along with his "eloquent" message speaks for itself.
They may be ok in Poland but when they go further west the compassion will soon turn to hostility.
Europeans have their own caste system with the Anglos as the Brahmins, then the Germans/Nordics, then the Latin countries, then eastern Europeans. Russians are considered the untouchables. A lot of unfortunate Ukrainians will soon learn this. An English MP has already publically said he wants Ukrainians in England to come so they can work on strawberry farms.
Also, I think this idea of handing out small arms, ATGMs and Stingers is going to come back to bite Europe. Before the war it the most corrupt country in Europe, things will be worse right now.
Lots of civilians will just be stashing these away for when the war is over, and corrupt generals will be selling them onto the black market . They'll soon find their way into the hands of ISIS terrorists, neo-nazis and other dissident groups in the west.
