I think it's safe to say that those Russian students in europe tend to be the ones from privileged families with bank accounts and assets in the EU and the UK; this is a massive own goal for atlanticists who think punishing these russians is going to put pressure on Putin. Russian students in China on the other hand tend to be more conscientious, more likely to speak the language as opposed to lower laowei types.
